Four themes come up again and again across our Tripadvisor and Google reviews — summarised, not cherry-picked.
The most repeated theme is that the route visits the places guests recognise from the show — the Met Steps, the Empire Hotel, the Upper East Side townhouses — with photo time at each stop rather than a drive past.
Guests single out the guides for episode-level detail: which scene was filmed where, and what the building is in real life.
Because the tour rides rather than walks, guests cover far more of Manhattan than a walking route of the same length, which comes up constantly in reviews from families and from anyone touring in summer heat.
A large share of reviews come from birthdays, bachelorette parties and mother–daughter trips booked as a surprise for a lifelong Gossip Girl fan.
The tour behind most of these reviews is our guided Gossip Girl filming-location ride through the Upper East Side and Midtown Manhattan: your own pedicab and guide, stops at the locations from the show, and photo time at each one. Full routes, durations and prices are on the tour pages:
Reviews tell you what the day felt like; these answer the practical part. Each one opens the full answer on our Gossip Girl NYC questions page.
Private groups, local guides and 5-star reviews. Every route visits the real Gossip Girl filming locations on the Upper East Side, from the Met Steps to Central Park.
Our local New York guides take you to the real filming locations of the Upper East Side — The Met Steps, the Empire Hotel, Ladurée and Central Park.
